Tulika Puri Katyal

Founder

A gold medalist from the Sushant School of Art and Architecture, Tulika is a Partner at award-winning architecture firm Urbane-The Design Workshop and the Founder of the Center for Design & Innovation.

Following a Master's degree in Interior Architecture from Drexel University, Philadelphia, U.S.A. Tulika worked on some of the world’s landmark projects including the Mariott at the World Trade Centre, New York, as part of her remit with ACA in New York City and the OAS Architects in Philadelphia.

At Urbane-The Design Workshop, Tulika heads the interior design department, responsible for projects such as a 5 Star hotel in Malsl Estate, Hotel President at Dehradun, and the Formula 1 hotels for the Accor group. Tulika has successfully headed several corporate projects, including offices for Michelin Tyres, DHL, Expro India and Tata McGraw Hill. 

Her background and knowledge of the healthcare industry has helped the firm deliver some of the most well-designed hospitals in India including the Fortis Healthcare, Artemis Health Science, Max Healthcare, and Moolchand Hospital.

Tulika has recently launched a company for high-end boutique residences and hospitality spaces in a joint venture with Carolme Deroch, a boutique French designer.

As Founder of the Center for Design & Innovation, Tulika is currently engaged in developing national, regional and international collaborations to bring the best of entrepreneurial growth opportunity to India.
